Lets Follow Through


In Illustrator I usually put the sketch or scribble locked on the top layer with its opacity set to around 40%. Then below it the line art layer, this is so I can still see the sketch clearly.

I'll dash around the image dropping lines with overshoot/follow through where I can. I think this applies to inking in any program. It's by no means law though.

ooo, neat. I love the step by step on what goes into a drawing. And now that I've seen how you create crisp lines I can finally consume your visage and take over your style. Such is the way I've done for 90 years, such is the way I shall continue for the next 90.

ugh! illustrator is awful. its like Flash's retarded cousin. still great drawings though.
