So I had my first attempt at using a actual inking brush! It was a Winsor & Newton size 3 and I made a tonne of mistakes. The first blunder was the super thick first brush stroke on the cheek there, I now see why they say you gotta do warm-ups before inking. It’s no where near as clean as my digital inks but I got the whole thing done in like 15 minutes and I may like this “rougher” look. Not too sure.

I need to get into brush inking.....
Yours looks really good for an early ink. I like your digital inks better, but that's just because I love really smooth lines. If you keep at it though, you will probably be able to do something more natural and organic than digital ink.
I'm sure that brush inking is one of the hardest things to learn and perfect.
Her neck.... is really long.... like.... really. hahaha
Man, I wish I kept up with my traditional inking. Perhaps I'll practice it again later when I get my light table. Overall though, yours looks great! Practice makes perfect for sure but doesn't look like it'll take that much for you to get there.
Well I'm sure I like it!
