Flank M.D. An old character I was using for a test comic. Tweaking his look slightly. Whiped out the brush pen for the top one. It's pretty cool for speed inks.


Oh yeah, I bought The Art Earl Oliver Hurst recently. Thought I'd share some of his awesomeness. They sure don't make em like they used to.
I also just realised that it's incredibly hard to make cartoons appealing. It's almost like trying to impress someone with a one liner instead of a story. You really have to make every line/shape count with animated style illustration. Hurst was one of the few that could do this.
